Here at the Newbury Park Steelers Cheerleading program, our mission is to create a vibrant and supportive environment where girlhood
can flourish. We are dedicated to cultivating lasting friendships, fostering teamwork, and building a strong foundation in cheerleading,
stunting, and dance. Our goal is to provide a fun and engaging space where each cheerleader feels valued, empowered, and inspired to
be their best. Together, we cheer, laugh, and grow, celebrating the spirit of community and the joy of being a part of the Steelers family.

Cheer Registration Fee: $235 early registration; $265 standard registration
Cheer uniform estimated cost between $300 and $361.

• Spirit Wear (1 Customized Team Tee)
• Uniform Fitting
• Team Photo Shoot (1 Team Photo)
• Individual Photo Shoot (Packages available for purchase at shoot)
• Cheer training and coaching

Squad Assignments:
Team placements are subject and dependent upon the number of participants signed up and the number of volunteer Coaches.

Important Dates:
- June 7, 2026: Uniform Fitting (mandatory)
- July 13, 2026 to July 17, 2026: Spirit Week
- Practices during Spirit Week will be Monday through Friday
- August 22, 2026: First Game
- Season will run through end of October/early November (dependent on football teams playoff performances)
Practice Information:
Practices will be two times per week with Saturday games. *Exception of Spirit Week and NPHS Steelers Week.
Physical forms and photo releases are due no later than the first day of practice. Without a completed form your participant will not be able to practice. Physical forms can be located here.
• Practice Attire
Team T-shirts(provided with registration) and black shorts. No denim and jewelry is not allowed when cheering. Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail at all practices.

The following terms apply to all levels of NP Steelers Youth Football and Cheer:
NP Steelers Youth football and Cheer is a nonprofit organization. Our board members and coaches volunteer their time to make sure the youth in our community have a safe place to play football and cheer. Each family of a registered participant is required to volunteer throughout the season in order to keep our organization functioning properly. If you would like to opt out of volunteering, you may do so by sending an email to info@npsteelers.com. There will be a fee of $175 to opt out of volunteering.
During the NP Steelers 2026 season there will be a fundraising campaign. Each family of a registered participant will be required to participate in the fundraising efforts. If you would like to opt out of the fundraising efforts, please send an email to info@npsteelers.com. There will be a $175 fee to opt out of fundraising.
NP STEELERS YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEER REFUND POLICY:
Parent or Guardian must send a request for refund to the Board at: info@npsteelers.com
For registrants to the NP Steelers 2026 season, from February 2026 – May 31st, 2026, the registration fee collected is 99% refundable. (1% will be kept to cover service fee). From June 1st – Day before first day of practice, the registration fee collected is 50% refundable. NO REFUNDS after the first official practice (July 2026).
